Surf Ears 4.0 - Premium Ear Protection for Water Sports

Surf Ears have become the go to for ear protection while participating in a wide variety of water sports, so we had to try out the latest version for ourselves!

First off is the new colours, which look very premium and are a definite upgrade.

Both the Sage and the Coral reflect the green credentials of the 4.0 version of Surf Ears, which now contain recycled ocean plastics and repurposed silicone taking harmful materials and making great use of them instead.

That's a win for us and a win for our playgrounds!

The actual ears are improved too, with softer silicone making for a secure and comfortable fit straight out of the box.

The plethora of different sized ear buds ensure everyone can get a near custom fit, and new for the 4.0 there is now an option to remove the "wings" for use under a hood, which is a great addition and helps to avoid the discomfort of a hood pressing into the upper ear.

During use the Surf Ears 4.0 were just as impressive as previous versions.

They had no problem keeping water out but are well capable of letting in enough sound to stay in tune with the environment or have a conversation in the line up, and they stayed put without a hitch over a number of hours.

With surfer's ear now on most people's radar a good pair of plugs that don't break the bank but offer true protection are essential, and we can vouch for the Surf Ears 4.0.
